A Letter came from the English King, it read as follows:
To the Ceasar,
I have seen that you have handed Sicily to the Vandals. I feel I must congratulate you, you have given into hostile demands and in doing so greatly weakened your coutnry, and placed your sicilian countrymen in mortal danger. You have shown your weakness internationally, your previous threat of a 'crusade', I beleive it was called, to England is now nought but a meager threat, I simply dare you to attack my shores...
From, His royal highness, King Hengest II of England

In reply the Emporer sent a letter saying: You must wait for your part, scum, for soon it shall be you under hostile demands. You know not what peril you are in, along with the other heathens.

The Ceasar's advisor turned and looked into the grave face of his emporer.
"My lord, I must advise, If we do not fight the English soon, our influence shall be weakened, the Romano-British Kingdom that was once in power in the region must be re-established, and we must force it to be a dominion of our empire, that is, if we are to maintain our influence over the West-Christian realms,"

The Caeser only nodded solemnly.

There was a pause, until finally a lone general stepped forward:
"Shall I mass a legion?..."

"We shall. But the English dogs shall wait for their tablescraps. First we will deal with those Vandal scum. Mass a Legion. But it heads for Sicily."
