A Romano-British monk had issued a cry for help to the Pope, asking for the true soldiers of God to come forth and strike down the evil King Hengest.
It was widly known throughout the Papacy and the christian lands of what evil deeds were doe to the christians, human sacrfices and awful fates, such as the inards beign ripped from the body before death.
All looked upon the Emperor to do something.
