"I thank you a thousand times, great lord." Said the emisarry humbly. "And as for my discussion, I have asked all I was sent to: Would you be our ally in this time of war and doubt?"

“No friendship…. No Alliance…. But peace perhaps.” QaraGan said then moved away from the man and back to his seat. “Our concerns are not in the west at this time, And you, by your own admission, do not have the power to help us in our plans. We will not be made to fight Roman wars again but if West Rome stays out of our business then until our eyes turn westward we shall stay out of yours and until such time you will have naught to fear from the Huns.”
He turned to look at his fellow tribal leaders and laughed at the look of bewilderment on there faces for none till now had ever seen this more diplomatic side to QaraGan. “But if West Rome or any of its Allies or holdings attack us and ours then our eyes shall surely be turned west much quicker and you will not find such mercies as I have shown here today in this offering of peace.” He said without looking back to the Emissary.
“ In time though if Western Rome perhaps proves its wishes for friendship in a way more fitting the Huns then we may re-visit the issue.” spoke up Tai which only caused Hasat to laugh but QaraGan to glare at there cousin seemingly agreeing with Tai.

"I thank you, and now I will return to my lord." The Emissary left with a long bow.
