The Colosseum
The Colosseum was present when the site first started, for those of you who have been here long enough to remember it.
Now, for those of our younger members whom do not know, the colosseum is where players come to settle their disputes by the sword, and now the lance to!
The new colosseum features both duels and jousts, as will be explained beneath.
Duels:
Duels will be carried out completely in roleplay, you will have a selection of weapons to choose from, these shall be listed below, you will also have a selection of shields, helmets and body-armour to choose from. These are listed below.
**NOTE:** Two-Handed wepaons mean that you cannot use a shield.

Now, you must pick only one from each of those categories to equip yourself. The battles then are taken in turns. Now, there are three types of people in duels, these being:
Challenger
The Person whom makes the challenge
Defender
The person accepting the challenge
Referee
A member of staff
**NOTE**: In a tournament, the first non-referee poster is the Challenger.
It is taken in turns, in this sequence:
Challenger,
Defender,
Referee.
The turns are simple, saying things such as:
'William uses his pole-axe to swipe horizontally at Edward's Breast-Plate, striking beneath where the weapon is held'
A suitable reply would be:
'Edward moves his Viking Shield sidewards to block the attack, and then brings for a strike at William's neck with his Battle Axe'
The referee would then have to determine the outcome of the two hits, a reply may go like this:
'William's Pole-Axe became lodged into Edward's Viking Shield, the Battle axe clashed against William's Gothic Armour and weakened it, in which time William unlodged his Pole-Axe'
And it continues in a similar fashion until eventually one player makes a victorious move, as decided by the referee.
